Church Structure
We are an Elder led church, and our Elder Board has the responsibility to provide direction to the Staff and the church as a whole. Their three main areas of focus are outlined below and are developed In light of 1 Peter 5:1-4, 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and Titus 1:5-9. Everything they do is for the sake of the well-being of individuals, the health of the church, and the honor of God.
Direction
They discern where God is leading our church in light of the truths of Scripture, our current opportunities, and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Discipline
In order to develop greater health and maturity, our Elders lead us towards a culture in which we are trained up in the faith.
Doctrine
Our Elders keep watch over the teachings and beliefs of the church in order to keep us faithful to Jesus and aligned with Scripture.
The Center Church Staff leads the day to day ministry of the church in line with the priorities and direction of the Elders.
Our Deacons serve by meeting tangible needs and protecting the unity of the church. We see this pattern set out in Acts 6:1-7.
